All Saints Cathedral School wins moot court competition in St. Thomas, moves on to finals

Some All Saints Cathedral School students are taking home a win.

These students, Kimora-Lin Blackett, Kejuan Harrigan and Josuhar Espinola along with their coach Tina Comissiong and teacher representative Cleopatra Skeritt, won the first round of the 25th annual high school Appellate Moot Court Competition in St. Thomas, at the Supreme Court of the Virgin Islands.

A separate round was hosted on St. Croix at the District Court of the Virgin Islands.

The competition has two rounds, over a three day period from May 21-23.

The top two teams from St. Thomas and the top two teams from St. Croix in the first round of the competition will compete in the final round.

The final round will be on St. Thomas on May 23rd at the Supreme Court of the Virgin Islands. 

The Virgin Islands Bar Association is hosting the event and helping transport teams from St. Croix to St. Thomas for the final round.
