A Florida man is arrested for forging several checks and cashing them here in the US Virgin Islands.
39-year-old Alain Rodriquez was arrested after he was found cashing, possessing and forging several checks belonging to the Virgin Islands Port Authority Marine-Revenue.
This after an employee of Virgin Islands Port Authority reported that several checks belonging to the agency were stolen and cashed for an “undisclosed amount.”
Bail is set to $250,000.
Rodriquez was remained to the Bureau of Corrections.
