Early Sunday morning in St. Thomas, four armed men robbed a bar in Smith Bay.
It happened around 4AM when 911 got a call that an armed robbery just happened at the Galaxy Bar at the bottom of Cassi Hill.
The victim told police that while closing the bar four men came in with guns.
One of the suspects went to the register and emptied it while another searched one of the victim’s purses’ and another’s pockets’.
The men left with about $1,200.
This is just one of a series of robberies in the St. Thomas – St. John District.
Deputy Chief David Canonnier is asking the community to be more vigilant.
