Record Amount of Virgin Islanders Cast Early Ballots

A record-breaking amount of Virgin Islanders cast their ballots during early voting for the Democratic Primary Election.

Election day is Saturday, August 6th.
Voting centers will be open from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Tallies show there were 4,418 voters who cast their ballots early, breaking the 2018 record of 3,521 early voters.

There are a total of 54,576 registered voters in the Virgin Islands, and 13% of registered Democrat voters cast their ballots early.

The elections office is encouraging voters to familiarize themselves with the voting process before election day this Saturday, so for a list of candidates, sample ballots, and other election information you can visit vivote.gov.
