Recycling has come to St. Thomas.
Stemming from a system CBS USVI reported on in St. Croix, the Plaza Extra in Tutu is starting their own recycling initiative.
It started Saturday September 15 and will continue each Saturday. Workers are collecting plastic to be sorted crushed and shipped off island to be recycled. The effort is paid for my Plaza Extra Tutu. They’re working with the Enivronmental Association of St. Thomas St. John and the VI Green Team.

The event goes from 8-12 on Saturdays.
