On November 10th and 11th the Virgin Islands will join the nation in honoring the “Service” of service members across the nation as a part of Veterans Day.
The following Virgin Islanders, with over 70 years collectively of military service, have been chosen as honorees for their selfless service: Major General (Retired) Cleave A. McBean – St. Thomas Command Sergeant Major (Retired) Charles David – St. Croix Staff Sergeant (Retired) Elvis O. Lewis – St. John In addition to the above mentioned, Mrs. Camilla Moorehead will be honored as the Parade Marshall for the St. Croix Veterans Day Parade.
The Veterans Day Parades will take place as follows: Sunday Nov 10, 2019 with a Pre-Veterans Day Parade in Cruz Bay, St. John at 1:30pm.
On Monday Nov. 11, 2019 – Veterans Day Parade on St. Croix (Fredericksted) at 9:00 am and a Veterans Day Parade on Veterans Drive, in St. Thomas at 3:00 pm.
